GSDA:Steps for Importing NED Data into WMS

1. Startup WMS.
2. Select Open under the File menu.
3. Navigate to the location of the saved data files.
4. Select the header file, which will have an *.hdr extension.
   HINT: If there are numerous files in the directory you may want to change the Files of Type field to "NED Gridfloat header *.hdr" or "BIL header *.hdr" depending on the file format, to cut down on clutter.
5. Open the file, an Importing NED Gridfloat File dialog window will pop-up.
   NOTE: The dialog window will correspond to the data format, NED Gridfloat or BIL.
6. Simply click the OK button to close the window and import the DEM into WMS.
   NOTE: You will be prompted to convert the coordinate system.
7. Click the Yes button, a coordinate conversion window will come up.
8. Click OK to keep the defaults, and your project is ready to go.
