SMS:Create Profiles (Feature Objects Menu)

This option is found in the Feature Objects menu, in the Map module, when SHOALS is the active coverage type. Cross section arcs are created from a selected coastline arc. The profiles are created perpendicular from the coastline at each coastline node and vertex. The options include:
- Profile Arc Lengths - The user specifies the length of each profile arc.
- Number of Segments - The user specifies the number of segments on each profile arc.
If the profile arcs are created on the wrong side of the coastline arc, delete the profiles, select the coastline, and reverse the arc direction. The profile arcs are always created on the right side of the coastline if the coastline is running from South to North.
