BYU CEEn 531 Image and Animation Contest

Aquaveo is sponsoring a contest for the students of the CEEn 531 class during the 2011 Winter Semester at BYU. Two $25 gift certificates will be given away. The project with the best WMS graphic and the project with the best WMS animation will each be given a gift certificate.

Here are the instructions for entering your graphic and/or animation:

1. Put your graphic or animation on the web page associated with your class project.
2. Make your WMS project files available as a .zip file on the web page associated with your class project.
3. Send an email to Chris at Aquaveo with the following information: 1) Your Name, 2) the location on the web of your WMS graphic or animation, and 3) The location where your project files can be downloaded (ZIP files are preferred).

Remember that a successful submission will have BOTH 1) either an image or an animation and 2) a ZIP file containing the WMS or GSSHA project files used to generate your image.

Successful submissions must be submitted by April 13, 2011. Submissions will be judged equally on the following criteria:

1. Technical sophistication of the project.
2. Usefulness of the project for real-world analysis and design.
3. Impressiveness of the image or animation.

Please note that by submitting your images, animations, and data, your files and your generated image or animation may be used for Aquaveo LLC for marketing purposes, whether or not you win a gift certificate.
