Create XS2D Geophysical Plot Feature Classes dialog

The Create XS2D Geophysical Plot Feature Classes tool is accessed by double-clicking on "ArcGIS Tool icon 10 5.png Create XS2D Geophysical Plot Feature Classes" under the "ArcGIS Toolset icon 10 5.png XS2D Editor" toolset under the "ArcGIS Toolset icon 10 5.png Subsurface Analyst" toolset under the "ArcGIS Toolbox icon 10 5.png Arc Hydro Groundwater Tools" toolbox. This tool creates XS2D_GeophysicalPlot features classes for adding geophysical data to an XS2D data frame: three feature classes representing geophysical data (point, line and polygon) and five feature classes representing the scale and grid.

The following fields are available. Required fields are marked with a ArcGIS required - green circle icon.png icon. Fields marked with a ArcGIS Error icon.png icon may either not be supported or the table doesn't exist.

  • Input Section Line Features – Click the ArcGIS Browse button 10 5.png button to bring up the Input Section Line Features dialog in order to specify the input line feature representing section lines.
  • ArcGIS required - green circle icon.png HydroID of Well defining the cross section – Enter the numerical ID uniquely identifying the section line feature defining the cross section.
  • Input XS2D_Catalog Table – Click the ArcGIS Browse button 10 5.png button to bring up the Input XS2D_Catalog Table dialog in order to specify the XS2D_Catalog table as defined by the Arc Hydro Groundwater Data Model. This table stores information about the XS2D_GeophysicalPlot feature classes created by the tool.
