GMS allows recording of hydrograph data from the HydroGeoSphere model run. This requires that Hydrograph is set as the parameter for an arc or point on the Hydrograph coverage. This is done inside the ''Arc Properties'' dialog or the ''Point Properties dialog'', respectively. Then the coverage needs to be added to the simulation.

There are three coverages that are built specifically for the HydroGeoSphere model: Boundary Conditions, Observations, and Hydrographs. The coverage type is set by right-clicking on a coverage in the Project Explorer and selecting Coverage TypeHydroGeoSphere, and then selecting the desired coverage.

Boundary Conditions Coverage

GMS uses feature objects to define the boundary conditions on a Boundary Conditions coverage. This includes points, arcs, and polygons. Each of these feature objects type have their own unique properties dialog where the parameters are set. GMS uses this coverage to pin point all the grid components associated with the boundary conditions so they can be included in the HydroGeoSphere simulation.

Observations Coverage

GMS allows recording of observation data from the HydroGeoSphere model run. This requires the creation of observation points on the Observations coverage. This is done by selecting a point to designate as an observation point and setting the parameters inside the Point Properties dialog. Then the coverage needs to be added to the simulation.

Hydrographs Coverage

GMS allows recording of hydrograph data from the HydroGeoSphere model run. This requires that Hydrograph is set as the parameter for an arc or point on the Hydrograph coverage. This is done inside the Arc Properties dialog or the Point Properties dialog, respectively. Then the coverage needs to be added to the simulation.
