Flood Depth Raster

The Flood Depth Raster tool creates a flood depth raster using an elevation raster and a water-surface elevation (WSE) dataset.

Input Parameters

  • Input Elevation raster – Select an elevation raster in the project that will be used for the flood depth raster.
  • WSE Dataset – Select a water-surface elevation dataset in the project.
  • Mesh truncate option – Options as to how the final raster will be truncated to only include the flood depth area.
    • "Truncate to wetted mesh area"
    • "Do not truncate to wetted mesh area (may fill holes in mesh)"
  • Minimum island area

Output Parameters

  • Output raster – Enter a name for the new flood depth raster.
