1. Create a MT3DMS simulation.
  1. Select the MT3DMS | New Simulation menu command.
  2. Set up the basic transport package.
2. Define output control options.
  1. In the Basic Transport Package dialog, select the Packages button.
  2. Enter output options in the Output Control dialog.
3. Select packages.
  1. In the Basic Transport Package dialog, select the Packages button.
  2. Select packages in the MTD3DMS/RT3D Packages dialog.
    • For a SEAWAT project, select the Advention package and Source/sink mixing package options.
4. Define salt species.
  1. In the Basic Transport Package dialog, select the Define Species button.
  2. Enter salt species in the Define Species dialog.
  3. Define species starting concentration and other attributes in the spreadsheet in the [GMS:Basic Transport Package Dialog|Basic Transport Package]] dialog.
