1. Convert CAD to feature objects.
  1. Right-click on the CAD dataset in the Project Explorer and select CAD to | Feature Objects.
  2. Use the options in the [WMS:Feature_Objects_Menu#Cleaning|Clean Options]] dialog.
  3. Select the map coverage type in the Properties dialog.
2. Convert CAD faces to TIN.
  1. Right-click on the CAD data folder in the Project Explorer and select Convert | CAD Points to TIN Points.
  2. Set options in the CAD → TIN dialog.
