After creating or receiving a dynamic file interface XML file, the file can be used in SMS by doing one of the following:

1. Import the dynamic model interface after starting SMS.
The dynamic model interface XML file should be imported before starting the SMS project.
  1. Use the File | Open command.
  2. In the Open dialog, locate the XML file and import it.
The dynamic model interface (dialogs, menus, etc.) should be visible in the SMS interface.
  • Note: With this method the XML file must be kept with the project file after saving the project.
2. Import the dynamic model interface when starting SMS.
  1. Place the dynamic model interface XML file in the C:\Program Files\SMS <version>\DynamicXml installation directory.
  2. Start SMS.
The dynamic model interface (dialogs, menus, etc.) should be available in the SMS interface.
  • Note: With this method, the dynamic model will be available locally for any projects using SMS.
