SMS:SRH-2D Boundary Conditions Workflow

The SRH-2D model contains multiple boundary conditions options. Create these boundary conditions using the following steps:

1. Use a hydrograph as inflow boundary conditions. (optional)
  1. Define an inflow hydrograph.
  2. Create monitor points.
  3. Update the model control.
  4. Run SRH-2D.
2. Use a rating curve on the downstream boundary. (optional)
  1. Define a rating curve.
  2. Update the model control.
  3. Run SRH-2D.
3. Use a variable WSE on the downstream boundary. (optional)
  1. Define a variable WSE curve.
  2. Update the model control.
  3. Run SRH-2D.
