Changes to TUFLOW 2D Geometry Components

These changes are meant to modify the documentation for the TUFLOW 2D Geom Components [1].

The order links are listed matters for coverages and scatter data that modifies Z values. Links can be rearranged by dragging them up or down within the 2D Geometry domain. Coverages that do not modify Z values are not affected by the order in which their links are listed.

The following additional coverages can be put inside of a 2D Geometry domain

In addition, Scatter Data can also be put inside a 2D Geometry domain to modify Z values. Unlike the other components, it has additional TUFLOW options that can be set in its link's right-click menu. The TUFLOW Options that can be set for how the scatter data modifies Z values are All, Add, Min and Max. (TODO: Add picture of an example components folder with the scatter set Options dialog shown)

Changes to TUFLOW Coverages

These changes are meant to modify the documentation for the TUFLOW Coverages [2].

The order links are listed matters for coverages and scatter data that modifies Z values. Links can be rearranged by dragging them up or down within the 2D Geometry domain. Coverages that do not modify Z values are not affected by the order in which their links are listed.

Z Shape Coverage

Z Shape Coverages are used to modify Z values similar to the 2D Geometry Modification Coverage. Z Shapes are distinct in that they can use triggers to modify the geometry during the simulation. This is useful in simulating events such as a levy failing when water levels become too high. The Z Shape Coverage page provides more detailed information. Make sure the coverage is in the Geometry Component(s) you wish to apply to the modification to.

Polygons are not currently supported in the Z Shape coverage. If you wish to modify Z values with a polygon you can use the 2D Geom Modification coverage, though you will not be able to use triggers in that coverage. Z Shape Polygon support may be added in a later version.
