Template:SMS Breaklines Workflow

1. Create nodestrings/breaklines.
Select the create nodestring/breakline tool (depending on the module). Click along points of a common feature, such as a bank toe or levee crest, to connect these points in the surface. Use the Backspace key to back up if an erroneous selection is made. Double-click or press Enter key to complete the nodestring/breakline.

2. Import breaklines.
Breaklines can be imported as a scatter set using the File Import Wizard.

3. Force breaklines in a mesh.
Use the Force Breaklines command in the Nodestrings menu. Set breakline options in the Nodestring Options dialog.

4. Force breaklines in a scatter set.
Use the Force Breaklines command in the Breaklines menu. Set breakline options in the Scatter Breakline Options dialog. Use the Force Breaklines command in the Breaklines menu. Set breakline options in the Scatter Breakline Options dialog.
