GIS Conversion

1. Convert shapefile to feature objects.
  1. Select the GIS | Shapes → Feature Objects command.
  2. Use the GIS to Feature Objects Wizard to create feature objects on a map coverage.
2. Convert raster to 2D scatter points.
This process requires the active GIS data contain point layers.
  1. Right-click on the raster object and select the Convert to | 2D Scatter Points command.
3. Convert raster to smoothed raster.
  1. Right-click on the raster object and select the Convert to | Smoothed Raster command.
4. Convert raster to trimmed raster.
This o
  1. Right-click on the GIS object and select the Convert to | Trim Raster command.
5. Convert raster to flood depths.
This process requires a water surface elevation dataset be available in the project.
  1. Right-click on the raster object and select the Convert to | Flood Depths command.

SMS GIS with ArcObjects Workflow
