1. Register images.

2. Set projections.
Right-click on an object in the Project Explorer and select the Projection command. Set the horizontal and vertical projection using the Object Projection dialog. To set a global projection, use the Horizontal Projection dialog.

3. Adjust image transparency.
Right-click on the image object in the project explorer and select the Transparency command. Using the Layer Transparency dialog, set the transparency for the image.

4. Smooth a raster image.
Right-click on the image object in the project explorer and select the Convert To \| Smoothed Raster command. Use the Raster Smoothing Options dialog to specify how the raster image data values should be smoothed. Save the new smoothed raster file.

5. Trim.

6. Resample a raster image.
Right-click on the image object in the project explorer and select the Convert To \| Resampled Raster command. Use the Resample and Export Raster dialog to specify how to resample the image data values. Save the new resampled raster file.

7. Merge mulitple images.
