To create breaklines, use the following steps:

1. Create a scatter set or mesh where breaklines can be added.
Breaklines can only be added to an existing scatter set or mesh.
  1. Generate a scatter set or mesh.
2. Import breaklines.
Breaklines can be imported as a scatter set using the File Import Wizard.
3. Force breaklines in a mesh.
  1. Use the Force Breaklines command in the Nodestrings menu.
  2. Set breakline options in the Nodestring Options dialog.
4. Force breaklines in a scatter set.
  1. Use the Force Breaklines command in the Breaklines menu.
  2. Set breakline options in the Scatter Breakline Options dialog.
