The MODFLOW Gage (GAGE) package allows gaging stations to be added to lakes and SFR stream reaches.  A gaging station provides detailed time series data.  MODFLOW generates a text file for each GAGE station that is available to be opened from a MODFLOW solution in the Project Explorer.  GMS also provides an interface to generate gage plots via the Plot Wizard. A detailed description of the GAGE input is available at [http://water.usgs.gov/nrp/gwsoftware/modflow2000/Guide/index.html?gage.htm the USGS website].

A detailed description of the GAGE input is available at the USGS website.

Gage Package Dialog

Gaging stations can be directly added via the Gage Package dialog. A button is also provided to easily add gage stations for all lakes in the model.
