MODFLOW-LGR allows the user to create child grids within a 3D grid for local grid refinement. To do this, select cells in the parent grid, right-click and select the Create Child Grid command. This brings up the Create Child Grid dialog which lets the user specify the child grid name, the horizontal refinement, the top and bottom parent layers where the child grid will be created, and the vertical refinement of the child grid in each parent grid layer.
